I wollte schon immer so einen schönen Tüllrock und wie es nun langsam wärmer wird entschied ich es ist an der Zeit! Die Farbe sollte neutral sein, da ich den Rock mit möglichst vielen Teilen meines Kleiderschrankes kombinieren möchte, ganz gleich ob casual oder elegant.
Here I found this lovely flocked tulle, which is very soft and falls perfect. I lined the skirt, added a layer of white tulle and finally the nude/ beige colour. I first had in mind to show a bit of the white one, cut it all evenly in the end, as I found it a bit OTT for me.
Den wundervollen Tüll habe ich hier gefunden; er ist total weich und fällt perfekt. Der Rock ist gefüttert, hat weissen Tüll und dann den beigen Tüll darüber. Eigentlich wollte ich den weissen Tüll etwas hervorschauen lassen, doch ich fand es passt nicht zu mir und so haben nun alle Lagen eine Länge.
I made the waistband out of the same fabric I had the lining done and find it adds a nice touch to it.
Den oberen Rand habe ich mit dem Futterstoff eingefasst.
....and since I have some fabric left over, I can see a little skirt for la bambina coming along :-)
By hand London have this great tutorial how to make a tulle skirt, I found that quite useful!
Nun werde ich mal mit den anderen Mädels rumsen, bin schon gespannt was es heute wieder alles zu sehen gibt!
Now I am going to rums with the other girls - can't wait to see what they've all created!
